Published: 30th June, 2011
UNIVERSITY College London has hired a new head for its new academy school in Swiss Cottage. Geraldine Davies will take charge of the school in Adelaide Road, which opens in September 2012.
She takes the job of “principal” – a role which became vacant when the woman originally picked for the job, Sylvia Jones, a head in Redbridge, walked away from the project. Ms Davies is a former headteacher at Douay Martyrs School in Hillingdon.
