Chelsea Barracks plan is approved - City Hall gives thumbs-up to redevelopment

CITY Hall has given the thumbs-up to a redevelop- ment of the Chelsea Barracks site, which was sold by the Ministry of Defence to Qatari Diar in 2007. The designs feature 448 houses and flats, a sports centre, retail units and a health centre. It will include 123 affordable homes.
