HATS off to youngsters from Brookfield School in Highgate who helped turn their summer festival on Saturday into a vibrant, fun-filled carnival.

Pupils at the school in Chester Road dressed up in colourful costumes and headgear to enjoy a day of singing, dancing and music. Money raised from the event will go to the Fantastic Arts at Brookfield programme of photography, drama and film-making projects.

Headteacher Mark Stubbings said: “It was a great community event, which was well supported.”
