Whittington Hospital's first baby of 2011 - Mother Audrey Habiera celebrates birth of son Guillaume

LITTLE baby Guillaume was the first baby born in the Whittington Hospital’s maternity unit in 2011. 

This time last year, the unit faced an uncertain future but, along with the A&E department at the Highgate hospital, it was saved from closure in a proposed reorganisation following a massive protest from patients. Guillaume’s mother, Audrey Habiera, celebrated the birth of her son just four hours into the New Year.
