Neighbours’ pitch battle

PLANS for a five-a-side football pitch in Finsbury will be discussed on Tuesday.

Proposals for the Three Corners Adventure Playground, in Rosoman Street, will be considered by Islington Council’s planning committee at the town hall at 7.30pm.

Ten objections have been received from neighbours concerned about increased noise and floodlights directed into their homes.
