EIGHT stars of Arsenal Football Club delivered special presents to sick children and babies at the Royal Free Hospital on Christmas Eve.

The first-team players included club captain Cesc Fabregas, midfield maestros Samir Nasri and Andrey Arshavin and strikers Marouane Chamakh and  Robin van Persie.

The Gunners spent two  hours at the Royal Free   visiting patients from newborns to 17-year-olds bringing gifts including signed official Arsenal club merchandise, as well as football boots, kits and toys.
