CCTV plea – Finsbury Park raid linked to My Shop robbery

POLICE hunting two men behind an armed robbery in Kentish Town have released dramatic footage (above) of suspects grappling with a shopkeeper and his son as they defend themselves.

They are linking the attack  captured on CCTV at a Finsbury Park newsagents to a violent robbery at My Shop in Fortess Road earlier the same evening.

A gunman and a man carrying a knife made off with £300 from the till after threatening staff. Police say the men fled into Burghley Road from Dartmouth Park Hill at about 9.45pm on Tuesday, December 21.

The images show suspects pistol-whipping the 25-year-old son and trying to knife his 46-year-old father in Gonca supermarket in Blackstock Road. The victims escaped with cuts and bruises.
