THEY have already performed for the Pope, and now the gospel choir at Maria Fidelis Convent School can add the Royals to their CV.
The choir were invited to Buckingham Palace earlier this month to perform for The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall at a gala event.
And the choir, which last year won BBC Songs of Praise Senior Choir of the Year, will also be singing for the Queen and Prime Minister David Cameron at Westminster Abbey next month.
The Palace event was to celebrate the Prince’s Foundation for Children and The Arts, which champions the power of the arts to transform the lives of disadvantaged children throughout the UK.
Lyn Newell, assistant headteacher at Maria Fidelis, who manages the choir, said: “It is a great honour and privilege to be associated with The Prince’s Foundation for Children and The Arts. The choir is a testimony to the values the Foundation holds – membership of this choir certainly does impact positively on the lives of its members in very many ways.”
