Drug dealers Darren Pryce and Christopher Jay caught in police net

TWO drug dealers have been jailed after a covert surveillance operation by police in Highbury.

Police acted after complaints from the public about drug dealers in the area.

Darren Pryce, 26, and Christopher Jay, 46, were jailed at Blackfriars Crown Court on Monday.

Pryce, of Quill Street, Finsbury Park, admitted 18 counts of supplying class A drugs and was jailed for four years.

Jay, of Woodstock Road, Finsbury Park, was jailed for three years after admitting four counts of supplying class A drugs.

PC Neal Williams, from Highbury West Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: “Pryce and Jay were arrested as a result of community concerns we received about drug dealing in the area. We listened and we delivered.”
