Doorstep attack - Teen slashed across face and neck in Rowley Way knife assault

A TEENAGER has been left in need of plastic surgery after a vicious knife attack in which he was slashed across the face and neck on his doorstep.

Police have released CCTV images of the suspect following the incident outside the 18-year-old’s flat on the Rowley Way estate in West Hampstead on January 18.

The suspect knocked on the door and was believed to have had a conversation with the victim before the attack at 9.30pm. Nic Gaiger, from Camden’s Violent Crime unit, said: “This was a very serious and nasty assault which left a man with severe cuts and needing surgery. I urge anyone who may be able to identify the suspect to contact Camden police.”
