A SCHOOL has launched a £25,000 appeal to build a stained-glass window in a chapel that was for years used as a makeshift classroom. The Grey Coat Hospital Guild – a Church of England comprehensive girls’ school in Greycoat Place, Pimlico – this week released designs (right) showing how the artwork by craftsman Michael Coles would look. The piece depicts the school’s patron saint, St Andrew, and was designed “to embody the spirit of the school”.
