CHARITY workers delivered early Easter presents to sick children at the Royal Free Hospital on Friday.
The Quintessentially Foundation brought the 200 gifts from King’s Cross storage company Access Self Storage.
Jessica Cox, of Quintessentially Foundation, said: “The idea came from one of our staff who remembers spending Easter in hospital as a child and she was really cheered up by toy donations from local businesses.”
Kevin Pratt, Access Self Storage’s marketing manager, said: “Many of these children will not be able to spend Easter at home.”
Natalie O’Keefe, play specialist at the Royal Free, said: “We’re very grateful for the generous donation. The children loved seeing the Easter bunny and were really pleased to get so many toys.”
