Published: 10 September, 2010

ROUGH sleeper Peter Pickles has completed his 70-mile walk for an Islington charity.

Peter, 60, dressed in 18th century smugglers costume for the walk.

He raised £1,000 for the Kings Corner Project, which has been running a free advice and resource centre for young people in Islington for more than 25 years.

During his four-day walk from Old Street to Dymchurch in Kent he slept in a bus shelter and a bandstand and spent a night in a wood.
