A RECLUSIVE man who described himself as a “loner” was found dead at his Islington home by police after not being seen for two weeks.
Keith Sandwell, 59, of Sherborne Street, died “some time late in April”, a coroner ruled at St Pancras Coroner’s Court on Wednesday.
He had taken a large dose of an anti-depressant and a painkiller.
Police reported finding empty packets of the drugs in his bin.
They were called to Mr Sandwell’s home by his son Glen, who had only recently made contact with his father after more than 30 years. Verdict: Suicide.
