A £1,000 REWARD has been offered for information about a shocking dog attack on a pensioner that took place in St John’s Wood High Street two weeks ago.
The woman, an 84-year-old former dancer, was bit in the face during the attack on Saturday, September 25, at around 5pm outside Kent and Son’s butcher’s shop.
Now her son, Haydn Haynes, is offering a reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of the owner of the animal, described as a brown bull mastiff.
A man with the dog is described as white, between 5ft 8ins and 6ft 2ins tall, aged in his early 20s. He is of slim build and was wearing a white T-shirt, possibly with a logo on the back.
Anyone with information is asked to call Westminster’s serious violence team on 020 7321 9631
or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 111 555.
No arrests have yet been made and enquiries continue.
