Jobhunters Finsbury triumph

A JOBS fair in Finsbury attracted more than 200 people, mostly from the local area. Employers represented at the St Luke’s Centre fair last week included Insitu Services, part of the Rentokil Group, and Crown Catering.

The event was organised by Trudi Saunders, EC1 Neighbourhood manager based at St Luke’s, in conjunction with Job Centre Plus. 

Ms Saunders said: “Reports back from employers are that 10 people were offered jobs while attending the fair, 16 people are being put forward for interview and a further 20 to 30 people have had their CVs passed on to the relevant departments within organisations.”
