WHAT do pets win? Prizes!

And so they did on Saturday at Dog Day Afternoon, an event at Cabbages and Frocks market in Marylebone Village.

Owners showed off their pooches as they danced to pop music and leapt over poles and through hoops to entertain the crowd, who tucked into crepes, hot dogs and falafel.

Prizes were awarded in categories including “waggiest tail” and “golden oldie”.

Cabbages and Frocks market is open every Saturday from 11am to 5pm in the St Marylebone Parish Church grounds off Marylebone High Street, W1. For details call 020 7794 1636.
