Getting active – A gift for Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School from Sainsbury's Camden

SCHOOLCHILDREN in Camden Town are benefiting from £250 worth of new sports, gardening and cooking equipment.

It was donated to Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School, in Pratt Street,  by Sainsbury’s in Camden Road, as part of its Active Kids ­programme. The food retailer has donated more than £100million worth of equipment since Active Kids was launched in 2005.

Shelly Dunbar, business manager at Our Lady’s, said the school was extremely appreciative of the ­donation. “The children will really benefit from it,” she added.

Camden Town Sainsbury’s store manager Ziggie Singh said: “We hope the equipment will make a ­difference both inside and outside the classroom to the children”.
