The Flowerpot is set to close

KENTISH Town music venue The Flowerpot is set to close. 

The pub, formerly known as the Bullet Bar, has carved out a reputation as a platform for up-and-coming acts over the past 18 months and has attracted some top indie acts. But the promoters behind it say they have been given notice to leave by the property’s owners. The last gig will now take place on Halloween this weekend.

The Kentish Town Road venue has a long history of live music – before it was the Bullet Bar, it was known as The Verge, and before that, The Castle.

Promoter “Jay” said they would be press ahead with a New Year’s Eve gig at The Forum and are now looking for  new premises in Camden.
