CAMDEN youngsters enjoyed an action-packed holiday following a donation of £10,000.

Thirteen young people from the Castlehaven Community Centre, in Castlehaven Road, took part in the outdoor adventure following the generous donation from Fitzrovia-based media company Zenith Optimedia.

Zenith adopted the Camden community centre as a charity two years ago and has been holding fundraising events for its members ever since. The £10,000 was raised during an event at Camden’s Proud Galleries.

Eleanor Botwright, the centre’s director, said: “The kids had a fantastic time and for some of them it was their only holiday. We really appreciate the money but it is also about the relationship they’ve developed. It’s great for the kids to have been able to get to know the team at Zenith through the various fundraisers.”
