Appeal for witnesses after robber swipes £10,000 of bank's cash

POLICE are hunting a robber who swiped a cashbox containing £10,000 from a security guard in Belsize Park.
The guard was returning to his vehicle from the Natwest Bank in Haverstock Hill when the robber pounced at  2.30 pm on Wednesday last week.
It is believed he made his getaway along Downside Crescent.
The empty cash box was recovered by police later that afternoon on the Girdlestone Estate in Holloway.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, aged 20-25, around six foot tall and wearing a light brown hoodie.
