Appeal for witnesses after 2am knife attack in Inverness Street

A MAN is recovering in hospital after being stabbed with a pocket knife in Camden Town.
The 28-year-old victim, whose injuries are described as “serious but not life-threatening”, suffered puncture wounds to the stomach in the attack in Inverness Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Officers are scouring CCTV footage and cordoned off a section of Inverness Street and Arlington Road outside the Good Mixer pub as they upped their search for the weapon.
The victim, who is believed to have been drinking, told police he was attacked by two men at around 2am when they were alerted to the incident by ambulance services six hours later .
Market traders reported seeing blood on the pavement when they set up their stalls on Tuesday morning. No arrests have been made.
A spokeswoman for Camden Police said: “The violent crime unit are investigating the incident.
“It does not look like a robbery and at this stage we are not appealing for witnesses.”
