IT is loving scene every parent will identify with

NEW pictures released by London Zoo show first-time mother Mjukuu playing with and cuddling her baby son, who was born at the Regent’s Park attraction last month.

More than 40,000 visitors have already been to the zoo to catch a glimpse of the baby gorilla – as yet unnamed – since he was  born.

The happy news followed two years of frustration and disaster at the Gorilla Kingdom enclosure which saw the sudden deaths of two male gorillas during attempts to encourage breeding.

Keeper Teague Stubbington said: “He is a very quiet and contented baby, which means Mjukuu is caring for him perfectly.”
