POLICE are appealing for a jogger who was bitten by a dog in Hyde Park to come forward after three school children were also attacked.
Two boxer dogs that were off the lead were being walked in South Carriage Drive at 2.25pm on November 9 when one ran towards a group of children playing football nearby.
The dog then bit three of the children, who were aged 11 and 12.
London Ambulance Service attended and all three children were taken to a central London hospital for treatment.
Police said the same dog then ran over to the jogger and bit him on the leg.
Police would like to talk to the man, who ran off through the park.
Inspector Scott McDonald said: “This was a vicious and unprovoked attack on people who were out enjoying the park and it is important that people continue to feel safe when they are out in the area. This man may be able to provide us with vital information about exactly what happened.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Inspector McDonald on 020 7161 9633.
