“I AM very happy to pledge my opposition to the closure of the A&E and maternity services at the Whittington, and, if elected, will work hard to keep the services open. The Green Party believe it’s wrong that hospitals and health centres are treated like businesses, rather than vital public services. We want to see an end to money being wasted on botched PFI and privatisation schemes and we want to protect the jobs of public sector workers. And Greens are happy to lead the way when it comes to transparency.”
