EXCLUSIVE By RICHARD OSLEY
THE new Labour administration at the Town Hall is to unveil the first council executive in Camden's history with more women than men. Six out of the tens seats around the cabinet table will be held by women. Party sources said those selected for senior roles are set to be: Angela Mason (deputy leader), Heather Johnson (education), Sue Vincent (environment), Pat Callaghan (social services), Sarah Hayward (community development) and Tulip Siddiq (culture).
The group met for its annual general meeting earlier today where members of the 30-strong group back in power in Camden set out plans for the months ahead. Nash Ali was confirmed as leader, Theo Blackwell will take up the finance job, Julian Fulbrook returns to his former job as housing chief and Abdul Hai is expected to head the community safety division.
