Campaigners thank Camden New Journal and Islington Tribune for Save Our Whittington Hospital support

VOLUNTEERS from the Defend The Whittington Hospital Coalition put in an enormous effort to force top politicians to save the Accident and Emergency department and the maternity unit. The New Journal and Islington Tribune worked with them at planning meetings and publicised their work. In this film, Shirley Franklin, co-chair of the coalition, thanks our newspapers for our part in the successful protest.
