ARCHWAY racing tipster Jim Baldry was overjoyed this week when Arsenal presented him with a new team shirt to replace the one stolen in a burglary.

Jim’s original shirt – framed and signed by players including Thierry Henry and Denis Bergkamp from the historic Premiership-winning team of 2003-04 – was stolen in a raid on his flat along with personal mementos.

But after reading Jim’s story Arsenal invited him  to the Emirates Stadium on Monday and presented him with a similar shirt, signed by the same team.

An Arsenal spokeswoman said: “We were so sorry to hear about the burglary to Mr Baldry’s property and naturally we’re delighted to be able to help. We searched our vaults high and low and managed to obtain a similar shirt to the one which Mr Baldry lost.”

Jim said: “I was absolutely knocked out when I got a call about this. The club have been wonderful and I really appreciate the new shirt.”
