VICTORIAN quack Dr Gripenerve and Florence Nightingale were among the special guests at the Brunswick Fayre in the Square on Saturday.

Revellers enjoyed a host of games, side stalls and live music, including dance from Esforal Latin School youngsters who are based in King’s Cross.

The celebrations marked the 150th anniversary of the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, and helped raise funds for the UK’s first Brain Tumour Unit.

Chief executive of the National Hospital Development Foundation Theresa Dauncey said: “We had more than 2,500 visitors on the day, we’re all really pleased.”
