Police seek help identifying deceased ‘John Doe’

DETECTIVES struggling to identify a suited, tattooed man who died after collapsing in a Holloway Street, are appealing to members of the public for help.
Islington Police have released details of the man in the hope that someone will recognise the description.
Trainee Detective Constable Sam Harris said: “This man’s family and friends probably do not know that he has passed away and could be wondering where he is.”
The man, who is aged between 50 and 70, died at the Whittington Hospital on January 2.
He had collapsed in Chambers Road early that afternoon and died at about 2pm.
He was not carrying any identification and all missing person enquiries have been exhausted.
He is described as about 6ft tall, of medium build, with cropped grey hair, a full grey beard, brown eyes and size 8 shoes. He was not wearing glasses or contact lenses.
Police believe he may have been a smoker and that he was right-handed. They have decided not to release a description of his tattoos.
He was wearing a plain black padded jacket with the “East Adventure Camp” brand, a plain black suit jacket and black suit trousers, a black polo shirt, black socks and black loafers.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
