Louis Vicente charged over shooting outside Queen’s Crescent Community Centre

A MAN has appeared in court charged in connection with a shooting that left a youth worker with a bullet lodged in his leg and a 16-year-old with bullet wounds to his head. Louis Vicente, 23, from Acton Street, off Gray’s Inn Road, spoke only to confirm his name and address at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Friday. His appearance followed a shooting last month outside Queen’s Crescent Community Centre in Gospel Oak. Mr Vicente is charged with wounding with intent and possession of a firearm with the intent to end someone’s life. He also faces charges of possession of cannabis and driving while disqualified. He was remanded in custody.
