It’s back for Blackwell in Gospel Oak

Published: 25 February 2010

OUTSPOKEN Labour councillor Theo Blackwell has changed his mind about quitting the council and has been selected to stand for the party in Gospel Oak ward.

The party’s former deputy leader had said he was stepping down from the Town Hall and did not seek re-selection in his current ward of Regent’s Park. But after Zoe Adamson pulled out of May’s council elections, Cllr Blackwell announced he would be seeking a third term by replacing her.

Former Labour councillor Peter Brayshaw has been selected to stand in St Pancras and Somers Town.
