STUDENTS from Westminster City School have been recognised for their work in tackling bullying.
Jonathon Lamboi and Gibril Kallon, both 18, received awards for supporting and mentoring younger pupils at the school. The pair have now been made anti-bullying ambassadors for the school.
The Diana Anti-Bullying Award, set up by the Diana Memorial Committee, recognises five to 18-year-olds.
The commendation is given to just 1,000 young people each year and winners collect their awards in June.
Headteacher David Maloney said: “I’m incredibly proud that both Gibril and Jonathon have been given this award. They are excellent role models for the other pupils and deserve to be richly congratulated for all of their hard work and determination.”
