Stations fail access test

NEW figures reveal that only two of Islington’s 12 railway and Tube stations have wheelchair access. 

It means one in 10 residents is excluded from large parts of the transport network because of mobility issues, according to a report by the London Assembly. And little over 60 per cent of Islington’s 350 bus stops meet the criteria for full accessibility.
