Future’s orange for Year 6 footballers - CNJ kits out Camden Council’s Sports Development Team

YOUNG footballers unveiled their new Camden New Journal-sponsored kits at Regent’s Park on Saturday.

The New Journal first sponsored the Camden District team’s orange and black kit in 2006, the year the borough’s finest Year 6 players made it to the final of the Kay Trophy at Arsenal’s Highbury ground.

This year, the side ­– run by Camden Council’s Sports Development Team – remain in contention after fighting back from a goal behind to draw 1-1 against South London in their penultimate Kay Trophy league match on Saturday. > more
