TREE swings, den building and BMX challenges were all part of a fun day for hundreds of families at Highbury Fields.
Colourscape, a giant sensory tent that uses colour, light, sound and performance to create an interactive environment, drew the biggest queues of the day.
A giant pirate ship, arts and crafts and visiting farm animals were among other attractions. Staff from Islington’s 12 adventure playgrounds staged a tug-of-war.
Suzanne Bartlett, who attended last week’s event with her daughter and two nieces, said: “The girls especially liked the badge making and we came prepared with our wellies. This is a really good idea – especially it all being free.”
