RESIDENTS were treated to two bumper parties on the Lisson Green and Churchill Gardens estates this week.

More than 800 feasted on a spread fit for a king while children enjoyed the bouncy castle, jumbo Connect 4, and Twister games. There was also an unusual attraction in the shape of Safari Pete – who pulled in the crowds with his lizards, a scorpion, a hairy tarantula and even a meerkat.

The event last Thursday was organised by CityWest’s maintenance contractors Linbrooks.

CityWest Homes chief executive Mark Hoyland said: “By working together with our partners, we can bring lots of benefits to residents and the community that is more than just managing and maintaining homes.”
