ISSUES such as teenage pregnancy, mental health, bullying and drugs were the subject of hard-hitting films premiered by young people in Fitzrovia last Tuesday.

The Camden Youth Action Showcase event at the Camden Centre in Bidborough Street was to celebrate the work of young people in the community.

Entertainment at the event organised by youth project Fitzrovia Youth in Action (FYA) also included stage performances, and there were information stalls to publicise the work being done by young people in Camden.

Andre Schott, director of FYA, described the event as a “great success.”
