Thanks to Highgate’s voters

• I WOULD like to thank the people of Highgate for electing me in last Thursday’s by-election.

I am honoured to be the new councillor for the ward and look forward to representing everyone in it.

I want to make sure that we cherish our library and community centres in Highgate; that the amazing people in Highgate and the council work more closely together. We need to defend Highgate and Camden from cuts to the police service; challenge health service reforms which limit access to care; and keep the schools in our area excellent.

These are very difficult times but I am really looking forward to the challenge.
