Out of fashion

Published: 22 September, 2011

• YET again another jolly-up with London Fashion Week, held in a corner of our neighbourhood Wakefield Street, a small area by any stretch of the imagination.

We had an endless stream of cars dropping and picking people up, with some blocking in the residents.

Who cares.

They wouldn’t want to go out anyway.

It’s always held in the property that is coming up for redevelopment, The Old Dairy, and if the noise, endless traffic and massive tailbacks are an indicator, then hold on to your hats it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

How does this Fashion Week jaunt and the new development actually benefit the community? Answer: it doesn’t.
