Good GCSE results

Published: September 8, 2011

THE reported figure of 59 per cent for the benchmark of five A*-C grade GCSEs including English and maths’ was an under-estimation.

Latest calculations show that Camden students have done even better, with 60 per cent reaching the benchmark.

The Key Stage 2 results from children in our primary schools have also exceeded expectations. Camden is now 20th in the country for English, with our maths results not far behind. Well done to all involved. Our challenge now is to build upon these great results.

Cabinet Member for Children Schools and Families
