CONCERNING RHD’s letter (September 8) on the subject of politicians’ food and drink, I can assure people it’s just not Members of Parliament who get subsidised meals and free drinks at the House of Commons.

All Commons staff, police, security, office staff and cleaners get subsidised meals at the many catering establishments at the Commons, which are always busy!
