Care and kindness are alive and well

• ONE evening recently, my friend phoned me and we arranged to meet at the Mediterranean Café and Bistro in Kentish Town Road just up from Camden Town tube station.
My friend took the bus and told me that on the way there she noticed that an old lady, who she knew, had been trapped in the bus doors.
Once she had been freed the two of them stood on the pavement by the café.
Having seen what had happened, the café’s chef then came out and invited them both in.
As the old lady was in shock, the chef gave her a cup of tea. She was made to feel at home.
He also took a photo of her, and has arranged for the picture to be hung on the café’s wall.
When my friend met up with me she told me all about the chef and waitress’s kindness.
I would like to point out to others, that there is still kindness and care in people.
A big thank you to Lee (the chef) and Aiza (the waitress).
We all made sure that the elderly lady got back home safely afterwards.
