Real and gritty work

Published: 5 May, 2011

• YOUR report missed the irony of the quaint “Banksy”-style stencil being overlayed by the kush tag in Primrose Hill (‘Make tea not war’ mural tribute to shopkeeper ruined by vandals, April 21)

The tag has been done carefully enough to allow the twee olde ladye to continue to smile through.

It hasn’t been trashed.

Real and gritty graffiti is dialogue and not decoration.
