No help!

• What is happening to Camden Council?

At the end of March I rang the council’s mobility office to get an application form to get a taxi card to access transport for my mother, who is 76 and has terminal cancer, and also had walking problems because of a stroke.

I was sent a form in the post which I filled in and sent off.

I didn’t hear anything and I rang the mobility office again. They said they didn’t receive it back, so I asked for another form. Two weeks later, no form had arrived.

This went on for a month – me ringing and asking for a form and they saying they’d send a form out.

I have now filled in two forms, sent both off.

Not received!

I asked for a new form last week but still haven’t received it.

It is now May 16 and when I spoke to the manager, to ask what was going on, she blamed the post and promised to send another one.

If, by some miracle, I do receive one that will probably go missing.

That’s kind compassionate Camden Council for you.

The people who need the real help don’t get it.
