Brilliant year, Jonathan

• WELL, another council year comes to an end and Councillor Jonathan Simpson’s year in the office of mayor and Camden’s first citizen.

Jonathan took on the mayoral duties with seamless ability, his enjoyment enthusiasm for the role where clear for all to see at each and every event he attended. 

Jonathan also brought a sense of fun to Camden and raised awareness among many with his love of music and his Unsung Heroes competition and, of course, that now famous Christmas card!

The mayoral role is a non-political and one which requires a knowledge and love of the borough and in all these departments Jonathan has excelled.

That just leaves me to say thank you Mr Mayor for a brilliant year.
