Your life in their hands!

• I KNOW the health service is slowly being privatised. 

Four years ago I went to sit on a forum for health. Its main aim, I discovered very quickly, was to help the NHS prepare for privatisation. I was horrified and never went back. I refused to aid the crippling of this service, even though it isn’t perfect. 

The alternative?

Look at America, where less than 50 per cent of the population can afford medical service.

As for care of the mental health of Camdenites… well they don’t really care. 

And I feel very sorry for “whistle-blower” Dr Kim Holt (GOSH, they’re fine words: but where’s the action? John Gulliver, March 10). I know that when something goes wrong ranks are closed.  

I’ve had doctors tell me they are prepared to lie in court. Who would a judge believe?

Anyway, they can always tell everyone you’re insane!
