Tulip too intelligent for politics
Published: 3 March, 2011
• AFTER meeting the council’s leisure chief Tulip Siddiq, I felt compelled to write in to share my experience of this young woman.
Ms Siddiq conducted the library meetings I attended with utmost poise and grace, flawlessly answering questions of inquiry from a hostile audience and gently correcting fallacies.
Tirelessly taking on all cost-saving suggestions from the floor, she transmitted an air of confidence but struck the right balance of humility.
I did leave both meetings wondering why this intelligent lady is involved in the murky world of politics.
I would advise her to make a hasty exit before her spirit is crushed by these rogues!
