No vote…

• SO the No campaign fighting to keep our unfair voting system is driven by the leadership of one party.

Political commentator George Pascoe-Watson blogged that the Tory Central Office has ordered an emergency push to deliver a ‘no’ in the AV referendum on May 5.

The Yes campaign, meanwhile, has the backing from local campaigners in a number of parties and from none. In the former category, we have Frank Dobson MP, and in the latter, people like Sarah Allan, co-chair of the Camden Yes to Fairer Votes campaign, who is not in any political party.

The Central Office doesn’t even have support on this from some local grassroots campaigners.
