I got my purse back

• On February 17 you published my letter under the heading “Irreplaceable treasure from my stolen purse”. 

Guess what! The purse has been returned!

I’d like to thank the kind people who contributed to the return of the purse and the photo within it.

Most of all gratitude to the kindly citizen who turned the purse in to the West Hampstead police station. 

Thanks to the police officer who took the time to telephone Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre to report the find. Thanks again to the busy person at the leisure centre who took the time to find my phone number and then telephone me with the news!

Lastly, thanks to you. 

I am very grateful.
